I had a claim last year which was rejected. I went to the ombudsman & my claim was re-instated. Lombard's very own investigator told me after interviewing me not to worry & that I will be paid out. In the end I was over by Lombard who presented a different story as to initially why they rejected my claim which resulted in my business being liquidated. These are hihghly unscrupulous insurers who have now also recently entered the life insurance market. I pity the people who use them & have to claim. Even the ombudsman sympathised with me after hearing that I was a 'Lombard' client.
