On Monday 27th May I deposited R400 into my cheque account and I was shocked to find out that the bank charges had taken everything and left me with R45. I took the matter to enquiries and the lady was not helpful at all. I'm extremely disappointed with FNB, this is day light. I didn't event get any notification that my account was in the negative with R60 and all the charges don't make sense, for someone who is self employed trying to create jobs in South Africa, FNB is DEFINATELY not helping in this manner. I have no words to describe how defeated I felt with this action contrary to what FNB promises. In all my banking years with other banks I have never encountered such, bank charges are fixed. It's always the people whose accounts that don't reflect millions that are treated with such disregard.
