FNB debited my cheque account for an amount which was not discussed with me. This is for a credit card that i am owing. No one called me however FNB has all my current contact details. When confirming this with their attorney's i was informed that FNB do debit customer accounts without informing them and the attorney's did confirm they were supposed to make arrangements with me first however they never do that. I find this very distrubing as i am of a view that the bank has to make payment arrangements however this was done and the amount debited means that my homeloan will not be honoured. I have tried several times to speak to their attorney's department on 0113525369 Option 3 however after being on hold for an hour i still have not spoken to anyone who can assit me in having this amount reversed back into my cheque account and make alternative arrangements for the outstanding amount.
