I had an account with you which was due on 28/01/2013 but could not pay due to unforeseen circumstances, I received a letter from your offices to say if I can't pay the whole amount I can call to make arrangements but to my surprise when I call your office I was told if I cant pay the whole amount I will be handed over. I was then handed over to Blakes & Associates who also insisted that I pay the whole amount, i tried to make arrangements but they refused, This is contrary to the NCR which clearly states that a consumer has a right to a debt counseller or negotiate payments if overindebted. i then told them to debit the amount on 26/04/02013 but it was never done. Yesterday I got a call form a lady saying she was calling from Simpson Attorneys in Cape Town, she told me an immediate payment is required and I told her I would like to make arrangements to start paying from end of June, she said someone from her office will call me because she was also insisting on the whole amount, am very dissaipointed with Wonga.
