I've just called the customer contact centre and received the most shockingly bad service from Clement and subsequently Muneeb. The query I had was on my son's account. I opened this saving account for my son when he was about 6 years old, he is now 15 years old and I've never had an issue managing this account. Now suddenly I am told there are no signing powers on the system so I cannot be helped. How is it that I am the only one to having signing powers on the account as my son is a minor. Clement and Muneeb were unwilling to assist with me getting my query resolved. I am very disatisfied with this lack of customer service and if this is the kind of service Standard Bank gives after being a client of yours for over 20 years, then I think I will consider changing banks.
