For a long time now I get a lot of spam from FNB. Competitions, specials, and just today an SMS saying that I can save money by shopping at Checkers, Shoprite and Pick n' Pay. I get a lot saying how I can buy Cell-C airtime. Now I am not even with Cell-C, so this is a bit stupid.
But what irritates me the most is the fact that I am getting spam from FNB at all. And why the competitions. Why the specials. FNB is a bank. Why are they selling insurance, air-time, or telling me I should shop at Checkers? This is insane. They are supposed to be my bank. I suggest they stick to what they are supposed to do - banking.
But here is the thing. Why do they not provide a way to stop the spam. I think it is the law to provide a way to stop it. I have SMSed STOP to the SMSes, but nothing happens.
So FNB, please stop sending me spam. I am not interested in your specials, your competitions, ect.
