We recently moved into a new house in westville only to find the property next door is abandoned and has been repossessed by fnb a few years ago.
This house is in a state of disrepair and despite supposed security guards being placed on site the house is still a huge security concern for us. The security guards do not patrol the grounds of the property and thus makes it an easy escape/exit point for criminals.
Secondly the house is in a terrible state. The trees are overgrown and rotting. The grass is overgrown. The pool is attracting Mosquitos.
Due to the property being abandoned we have had a break in at our place next door and of copper pipes take place.
I would like to know what fnb is doing to sort this property out, and get it sold off.
This house is devaluing the properties surrounding it.
