I signed with mtn for insurance through callsure which is a division of hollard. It is now two or three months later and I want to claim so I called them and apparently my banking details were incorrect so they never received my premiums. Now I understand that it's my responsibility to make sure it's paid but my question is do they not verify banking details when they get a new customer, because if they did then they would have obviously contacted me to inform me of this error? And I think if I'm in some sort of arrears they should inform me, not just leave it to accumulate? All my other policies or creditors inform me every month of money which is due to them. I didn't even receive a statement once or confirmation of my policy!!! After speaking the lady on Friday she assured me she would get back to me before the end of the day and guess what??? Still waiting!!!
