Seems like there is a between Liquid Capital and Proton Menlyn. I enquired for a vehicle from proton and i gave them all my details since i was applying for finance, they quoted me for the vehicle and I told them to send me the pictures and specs of the vehicle since I was out of town. in the meantime i was called by Liquid capital so i could confirm my details for insurance cover and i told them yes they had the correct details but had to wait until i had ccollected the vehicle then I could sign. I told Proton Menlyn I didn't want that vehicle and that was the last I heard from them. I was only surprised to see a withdrawal from my account of R831 and I enquired at my bank only to be told its Liquid Capital! Which car are they insuring? What's the vehicle VIN number? What's the registration number? This is of the highest order! I want my money back ASAP! I didn't sign anything with these people! Does Marlene the finance manager at Proton Menlyn get a commission from this? Finance regulators need to look into this!
