I have a Motorite extended warrantee policy for my Audi A4. When I took out the extended warrantee at no point in time did anyone from Motorite or the dealership explain the terms and conditions of this policy. My Audi's engine packed up and what an experience. Firstly it was proving that I serviced the vehicle on time. Then it was providing them with proof of payment. Then determining whether the workshops were RMI accredited or not. After making numerous calls and speaking to 10 different people in the Mororite's claims department I finally get informed that if the fault was due to wear and tear they would only be prepared to pay out 50% of the claim. A clause in the fine print of my policy that no-one from the dealership or from Motorite bothered to explained to me when I took out the cover. Had the terms been explained to me it is debatable whether or not I would have actually taken out the extended warrantee cover.
