My mother tongue is Afrikaans, but I'll try my best English. I am an A&G customer as from, 1/11/2010 and my non claim bonus is due next year. I cancelled debitorders at the bank, and they made a mistake by cancelling my A&G debit order. I phoned A&G only to be told that they cancelled my policy and it will only take effect as from the 1 of June 2013 again, and I am now without any coverage until then. I also "lost" my non claim bonus. When asked why they din't contact me, he read me a old e-mailaddress. They had my cell number, and when I ask why they didn't send an sms, he told me e-mail was my preference, and it is my obligation to contact them when my details change. I agree with that. I just feel that if I pay in the premium for this month why can't they re-instate my policy. Even if I have to pay a penalty of some sort. Also re-instate my non claim bonus as I deserve it.
If this can't be done, I might as well try Outsurance and maybe get the R400-00 which they offer
