Today i drew a 3 month statement (atm was out of order so i had to queue for the teller). after reviewing my statement, i see inconsistancies with bank charges where direct cash deposits have been made. i phoned the customer care line only to get hung up on after being on hold for the majority of 20 - 30 minutes. i go to the branch where i got my statement, i end up having to phone the call centre to kick up a fuss before the manager comes out to see me (1 person at the desk while the lines are getting longer and longer with no one to assist anyone). the inconsistencies with my account are due to the fact that the bank felt the need to change my account from a savings account to an access account! with a whole new set of bank charges!! WITHOUT SO MUCH AS AN EMAIL OR SMS TO ME! how can i trust a bank with my money if they show NO communication to their clients! i am told that head office will contact me. i am not holding my breath.
