My car was three weeks ago, the incident was reported immediately and the claim registered. I was told that it would take 5 to 10 working days to fully settle a claim - it has taken 3 weeks and the payout is still delayed.
I've had to take leave from work and it has caused me great inconvenience. Despite efforts on my part to provide what was needed to the insurance company there was still an unacceptable delay. Communication was unprofessional, I received responses to important queries days after I'd asked them which caused even further delay and very often the consultant who dealt with my claim was unreachable by phone.
I'm definitely not going to stick with Dial direct or recommend them to anyone I know.
