Groupon says no refund for voucher redeemed

I bought 2 vouchers for Brazilian treatments for my daughters hair. They were R500 each from Bellamore hair salon in the Radisson hotel next to village walk.
We have had these done before so we know what to expect. We went to the hairdresser and sat there for the afternoon and I wondered at the time what was going on because the procedure was different to what we had experienced before. Needless to say either the product they used was bogus or they didn't do it correctly but both of my daughters hair looks exactly the same as before. Groupon says they will not refund me because we redeemed the vouchers already. This seems unfair as I now have to take my girls elsewhere to have it done correctly. Had I not done a Brazilian before, I wouldn't have known the difference but I have and I know this one was bogus.
I'm considering just reversing costs in my credit card.
I'm mad. Again when 400 people have a Brazilian done, at 2-3 hours each, those 2 girls arms are going to fall off! Clearly they won't do it properly. Also the product they used didnt have any smell, and the last few times we had this done, the girls doing it had to wear a mask. Seems suspicious to me!
