No refund on broken item

To summarise
1. Purchased popcorn maker on 7 Nov 2012
2. Received broken popcorn maker exactly 4 weeks later.
3. Waited nearly two weeks for Groupon to respond to my e-mail about the broken item. Was told that I would receive a replacement after 7 Jan 2013
4. Was told on 16 Jan that supplier does not have stock and that a collection and refund will be done. Received an e-mail for request #620085 asking me to provide ALL THE INFORMATION THAT GROUPON ALREADY HAS for item collection.
5. I had sent the requested information through on 12 Feb 2013. The pick-up was done the next day if I remember correctly.
6. On 22 Feb, I send a reply to the request asking for when the refund will be made.
7. I send another reply to the request #68043 today, 8 March, only to find that it has been CLOSED by Groupon as the deemed the matter resolved and were asking for my response if I'm happy with the customer service.
8. This is the response I received from Groupon "Thank you for contacting Groupon CS. Your request for a refund has been approved. Should your refund be processed you will receive a confirmation e-mail."

Why is it that I have to wait nearly a month to get my money back? Worst service eve
