Bought a voucher now it cant be redeemed

I bought a voucher on the groupon site and am now not able to redeem it, groupon will not refund my money, instead the wanna give me a credit. I dealt with the customer service "manager" Nazley Bastra who had so much attitude and laughed at me on the phone. But i guess if you paying peanuts all you'll get is a monkey. Maybe i should send a bunch of bannanas to get my refund.
