I bought JustWater water bottles from Groupon.
First problem: I received a R50 voucher. When I tried to redeem it while using my phone, I could not go past the pop-up asking me whether I want to download the app. So, the whole amount was deducted from my Groupon credit and credit card. I could not use my R50 voucher.
I tried to cancel the purchase, but received NO feedback, only the automated reply to confirm my purchase.
Second problem: The purchase was on the 6th of December, with four weeks delivery.
One month later I have not received anything and send a mail to enquire.
Chantel Davids send me a mail to say my query have been escalated and once feedback is given, she would get back to me.
It has now been TWO months, so I phoned customer services only to be told that they had problems with the WaterBottles, so the purchase was cancelled, and they will refer my query to yet another department for a refund??!!!
Why could they not inform me of this the first time I sent a mail?
I still do not know how much Groupon credit I have, or when I will get my refund, or why I could not redeem my R50 voucher.
Please can somebody give me an answer.
