I bought a Groupon deal of 2 Telefunken Shower Radios at the end of November which were supposed to be Christmas presents. When the parcel arrived there was only 1 shower radio. I immediately contacted Groupon via their email for customer support and received a reply from someone called Prabhu Jada Prasad saying they would look into the matter. I was very impressed until I didn't hear anymore. I emailed again & was assured that I would receive the 2nd radio within the next week. Another week went by and I asked to rather receive a refund as it wouldn't arrive in time for Christmas. Since then all I have received is generic 'word for word' emails saying that they will tend to my query ASAP. It's been over a month and still no refund. I had a similar situation with Daddy's Deals where I bought accommodation and the B&B was flooded over the time we booked. Daddy's Deals gave me personal service and refunded me immediately. I will no longer be shopping at Groupon SA.
