I was billed by my service provider (Red Bull Mobile/Cell C) for 9 times R20.00 charges totalling R180.00 for a "service" I didn't subscribe to. The apparent subscription was for a entity called
Smart [URL Removed]
These are the different names I have uncovered. I have never subscribed to this service and can't understand who gave my service provider the right to add this to my invoice. I have done some online research and the internet is rife with complaints against this.
I have also lodged a compliant with the Wireless Application Service Providers' Association (WASPA) to try and take this further.
There are so many complaints on Hellopeter, Reportacrime, WASPA, etc., but nothing seems to be done about it.
