Many issues. The exhibition was a ghost town, almost everyone lost money.
The management deemed it fit to charge different rates to different stall or booth holders. I am one such booth holder. Example: Henry Du Preez paid for a 4 by 3 stand R 9 000.00, I paid for exactly the same size stand R 25 280.00. Another vendor got three times the space for R 18 000.00, he paid less than I but got three times more space. What is that? I feel abused and ripped off.
When we complained this weekend about the air conditioner being off the whole weekend, Heidi Warricker told us it costs R 90 000.00 for the weekend so she left off the air conditioning.
More, her pamphlets very clearly state "goodie bags" will be given away at the door, she only did this on Friday. Saturday and Sunday, no goodie bags were distributed.
Worse, Heidi gave out exhibitor tags to us vendors from the Cape Town and Durban events. This is unheard of. Every thing I am saying here can be verified. Exhibitors whom went to complain directly were treated with total arrogance by Heidi, saying we can go to the courts, the newspapers etc, she doesn't mind.
I wont exhibit with her again.
