As it is Madiba's birthday I thought I would get into the spirit of things and get myself one of his 90th Birthday celebration coins. I received the daily mail from Groupon and thought the price was a bit heavy because at the end of the day it is a R5 coin. Anyway I decided to purchase it. One of my colleagues had the same idea, but before I could purchase from Groupon she informed me of a better price from Collective Cow. At first I thought it could be different coins that they were selling, but after doing some research I found it was exactly the same coin that the sites were selling. Collective Cow priced the coin at R349, in comparison to Groupon's R1232.00. This is unacceptable it really is, and it is not the first time I have caught Groupon out, and I really am fed up of the poor people who are taken advantage of simply because they do need do their research and do not see that the "deal" really is not a deal.
