On the 15th of January 2013 I bought a Motorolla hands-free kit from Groupon, I paid the money into their account but I never received the goods. On taking up the matter with Groupon after a month (in February 2013), I was told the deal never went through because there was not enough people interested in buying the device. Despite various attempts from my side to try and recover the money owed to me, Groupon have not been making any attempts to pay me back. I am always told that I should forward my banking details and the proof of payment and the money will be paid back into my account upon doing that. The latest response I received this morning was that "they haven't found a solution to this issue" yet. The last person I interacted with was Yusuf from the Groupon Call Centre but before that I dealt with Lunga Mateta, Kershia and the others in the Support department. It is really difficult to deal with such entities as an individual as demonstrated by the number of months I have spent in trying to get back my money for a service which was never rendered. Companies such as Groupon do not take their customers seriously, let alone their reputation as a company that offers a service
