We booked a holiday with EXQUISITE TOURS AND TRAVEL (Dbn) from 24/12/13 to 12/01/14. Our holiday to India was paid in full before leaving SA. Everything seemed legit since we received all vouchers & e-tickets from them. We also independently verified bookings with hotels in India & saw that they were confirmed.
However, on reaching India we saw that ALL bookings were cancelled & nothing was paid in full. Vino Sheik (agents name) & her husband Raj (name he went by) who was initially introduced as her boss, had us & many other agents in India. They'd paid small deposits to agents there so that they'd secure bookings & get us vouchers, & promised to pay them the remainder once we got there. In this way, all our checks to see if bookings existed were always confirmed by hotels. Exquisite never paid the balance & became unreachable. We now had agents in India bugging us for money saying they hadn't been paid, & hotels not letting us check-out. Our trip was a disaster &we ended off rebooking & repaying everything. Exquisites ads have appeared in Lenasia Times & Sunday Times. We've also heard of other SA family's that they've. These people are liars & cheats. Plz beware
