I thought long and hard about writing a report and thought I should write something. I booked a trip to India through my travel agent over the December/January holidays. I remember booking early in May and asked for a Emirates flight as that's my preference when flying. So i immediately paid for it thinking hat secures my flight. i could have done it myself online but thought id get a travel agent to do it all for me. But two weeks prior to my trip I found out I was on a Ethihad flight. It really confused me and immediately I started stressing because I had never heard of them. I should have know then that my trip would have many more obstacles. Anyway I ended up on a SAA flight. Before taking off I messages my agent to ask and make sure someone would collect me on arrival in India and they confirmed it was so. Well on arrival there was nobody to collect me, I found my way to the hotel and upon arrival at the hotel I was not yet booked in as I was told. Harvey world travel dealt with Yatra travel agency in India who took care of my travel needs etc within india. But soon they started phoning me at all my hotels telling me that Harvey has not paid them for my trip.
