So I have a theory. I have a blackberry, on prepaid and have BIS services. My airtime has been disappearing off my account since February. I loaded R50 airtime and the next day had nothing left. When I inquired about this they said it was my BIS that was activated. Clearly they think I am stupid as I get the BIS that is R57. I went into a Cell C store and saw that R49 of the airtime was used up at 00:30am on mb usage. I was fast asleep at this time. I'm a mom of 2 kids and sleep is cherished by me (as it is for most moms). If it wasn't for this arb time of internet usage I probably wouldn't have noticed at all!! I keep getting excuses from Cell C, like I searched the internet (Internet is free and I rarely search anything on the internet on my phone as I have adsl); then they said I downloaded music or videos (again, I don't download anything). They can't even tell me what pages were searched and charged for! As I began complaining about this to friends and family, it came out that those that are on Cell C, their airtime is also disappearing! In my opinion Cell C can charge cheaper rates as they are skeeming off airtime and therefore we have to buy more!!!
