I was contacted in December 2012 by SSDA (debt collectors assigned by MTN) that i am in arrears with R15000 with my mTN account. I informed them that i have never had a MTN subscription account. I then contacted MTN legally department immediately and was advised to open up a police case and get a affidavit. I did so on the 20.12.12 and faxed all the docs to them on the 21.12.12. (I recieved no feedback from MTn or SSDA)
I then again called them in January 2013 and resubmitted the docs on the 1.16.13 - still no feedback and i am still receiving sms demanding payment.
I then contacted them again and this time emailed the docs on the 28.02.13 - still no feedback and i am still receiving sms demanding payment.

The fact that MTN does not even have the decency to feedback on this matter is PATHETIC. The way inwich they are handling this matter is PATHETIC. To date, nearly 3 months after i became aware of this and after submitting the documents on various occasions - MTN has not contacted me. I hope that they will at least have the decency to react to this compliant - as it appears the only time they respond to complaints is if it is posted on the net
