BAD SERVICE ON RE-ACTIVATION OF CONTRACT

I have been contacting Vodacom many times since 06 Jan in connection with reconnecting my mobile no.082 405 0149. I contacted your call centre and requested to reactivate my no, I have in the interim been using a pay as you go instead of being on a contract. All I got after being transferred from person to person and ongoing apologies is that it will be done and yet nothing has been done and no one has contacted me back.
WHAT HAS HAPPENDED TO VODACOM? Vodacom use to be the network leader? Or is it that it could not care less about its rapid loss in market share to the likes of other providers as they don't care about their current users anymore? It's no use promising and not delivering because that gives you a bad name. I have paid what I owe to Vodacom and brought my account up to date, I was then advised to go into the nearest Vodacom shop to complete a reconnection form and purchase new sim card, which was DONE! I was then informed that this process will take place in 5-7 working days. This was done and send to Vodacom from a Vodacom Shop on the 06 Jan, we are 4 week later and my contract is still not activated!!!
