S3 Samsung IMEI Broken by Vodacom

My daughter took her Samsung S3 on Thursday (8/8/2013) for a sim problem, after speaking to a few people in the store cause they kept on sending your around, her phone kept on saying problems with sim card, she did a sim swop as they suggested, Friday 9/8/13 her phone was still reading the same we took the phone back to the store, after they took her phone to the back came back and said they cannot work on her phone as it was not bought in this country... yet they opened it as it came back damaged now it shows the IMEI damaged, i want to know who is now responsible for this phone as it is going to cost money for them to try and fix and vodacom simply dont care. This phone is only a few months old. I would like this phone to be sorted also to get more competent people working at the store, so many people working there but no one knows what they are suppose to be doing.
