BEWARE CONSUMERS - Samsung AND Vodacom

I have been a loyal customer of Samsung and Vodacom for 10 yrs and here is my story
1. Upgraded to Samsung Galaxy S3 with Vodacom 9 months ago
2. 15.10.13 Phone backscreen & froze
3. 18.10.13 Taken to Vodacom repairs Greenpoint. Job # 9291967-08263539 quote R1695.68 - I refused as still under warranty but told "water damage" warranty null. Phone sent for 2nd assessment.
4. 4.11.13 New quote Job # 9341064-08263986 R471.70 - different parts AND cost to original quote - WHY if the damage is still from water??
5. 8.11.13 Collected phone - not happy with damage reports or quotes after 4 calls, 2 e-mails and 4 visits
6. 9.11.13 Phone to Samsung Smartcare Century City - quote new motherboard, no charge warranty valid (shown the Vodacom quotes & mentioned water damage). Repair 7-10 working days - will be sms'd
7. 24.11.13 Ten working days passed. Phoned Michaela for update. Told parts received
8. 27.11.13 Phoned Michaela - would look into to it and phone back
9. 30.11.13 Phoned Jacques NOW told there is a problem with IMEI and Korea and all my data is gone
SIX WEEKS 2 COMPANIES NO RESULT
This is DECEIPT and ABUSE. My next call Consumer Ombudsman - 0860000272
