I would just like to say that MTN does not know how to assist clients correctly when cancelling a contract and finalising an account.
I went to a MTN store in Clearwater on the 12 JULY 2013, to cancel one of my 3G contracts, the assistant helped me professionally, He got a complete quote from retention's department, which I paid there and then, plus he emailed them proof as well as my request to cancel my account/contract with immediate effect to avoid anymore billing or debit orders. its now the 25 July and still the matter has not being resolved or rectified! I mean! I called in to check why this matter was not done as per my request after viewing my MTN Active, to find that it was not cancelled on the 22 JULY 2013, I find out retention's just took payment towards my normal cell contract, which means my 3G proceeded to be billed. and shows that even by email they can't follow instructions, and that all the information on computer that is captured doesn't help them do their job correctly. So I called again today to find out the status, glad to see my contract is cancelled, but BILLING Department still have not rectified my account, which means I'm being Billed! NO ACCEPTABLE!
