I live in Sandton in a new complex and simply cannot get a Telkom line installed. Firstly, they made an appointment to come and install the line saying it will take the whole day. After taking the day off work they phone me at 10am to say that there a technician was there earlier the week and there are no Telkom lines to the complex. They would not be able to come before the lines to the complex are installed. Why couldn't they have let me know so that I did not have to take a day off work? Then after phoning again to find out when they would be able to come they first tell me that the line to the complex should be done within a week. Two weeks later and nothing has been done. After another call they now say they have no idea when the line to my complex is due to be installed. I have no idea when I will ever get a line installed? Can someone please just tell me when, if ever, I will get a line installed!
