I ordered a microwave on Saturday / Sunday and paid in full. The parcel was dispatched on Monday the 18th at 15:00 and arrived in Cape Town the same day at 23:23. That was the last time anything happened with the parcel. Today is Wednesday. I called Mr Delivery, at about 09:00, as specified on the site, and spoke to a Lilian. She promised to call me back. That didn't happen and I called again at about 12:35. I spoke to Lilian again. Her excuse was that she was still waiting for the courier company, Sky Net, to come back to her. What a pathetic excuse is that. How can you wait for more than 3 hours for feedback. This is really unacceptable. I just spoke to a Stacey from Sky Net who told me that the parcel will be delivered on Friday. According to her they only received the parcel 01:05 this morning. Somebody is telling a very big lie, because to Takealot's site, the parcel was in Cape Town on Monday. I think I must cancell my order and NEVER buy from Takealot again. This in not the first time I'm having problems with Takealot, but it will definitely be the LAST.
