The general consensus in Sedgefield is that Pep is badly run and the staff are, unfriendly and unprofessional. Big accusation, but go in there yourself and find out. I did yesterday and all six women behind the counter were dancing to a radio song, laughing and speaking in another language while looking at the customers in the queue and only one person in DECEMBER SEASON TIME was operating a till.
Another friend went in there a few days ago to purchase a cellphone and was told that since the manager isn't there, she couldn't. After the till operator made her wait at the counter because she was too busy hanging up clothes to help a customer.
My employer went in there and saw the manager smoking outside and yelling instructions to the teller from outside in full view and earshot of customers.
I have nothing against anyone who works there, but the lack of respect and good manners in PEP is common knowledge in this town. I'm tired of dealing with it and along with my friends I make a point to avoid buying anything there.
Please do something to change this bad behavior.
