I was given a "gift card". I travelled to the Alberton store SPECIFICALLY TO USE THE GIFT CARD. When I had selected goods and tried to pay, I was told that they could/would not honour the "gift card" - some lame excuse that their "drawcard machine is not working". They refused to refund the money or honour the card. Are we to believe that a COMPUTER COMPANY (whose staff are generally uninformed and badly trained anyway) do not have contingency procedures? Was it a lie? I'll never know. They are quick to take cash for "gift cards" but appear to make every excuse not to honour them. AVOID THESE CHARLATANS, AND DEFINITELY DO NOT FALL THEIR "GIFT CARD"!!! (PS I got what I wanted at Matrix, and they were cheaper...)
