I am a loyal Pick 'n Pay shopper, have a smart shopper card and support Vitality Healthy Foods. Unfortunately, last night I had a VERY bad encounter at Pick 'n Pay Cape Gate (Family Store).
I went there at 19:20. Seeing as the shop is open until 21:00, I did not expect to find the following issues.

I experienced the following problems:
1. There were only very few bags of salad leaves in stock
2. There was no mushrooms in stock
3. There was no bananas in stock
4. There was no green beans in stock
5. There was no 1kg carrots in stock- only bulk 3kg bags (the price stated 1 kg carrots).
6. There was no pockets of potatoes in stock
7. There was no tomatoes in stock
8. There was a very little variety of apples in stock
9. Various items had incorrect prices listed (e.g. the price at the carrots were stating 'Corn')
10. Some items did not even have prices on
11. There was nobody there to weigh and price products.

I asked to speak with the manager of that section and the answer I received was that 'she has already gone home'. If shops are open until 21:00, they are supposed to have stock on their shelves.
