Cellphone Repairs and Service

I took my phone in for repairs which is covered under Edgars Insurance on 2013 -05 - 01. After completing all the necessary paperwork, I was told that Edgars would contact me with 4 working days on the cost and extent of the damage to the phone. Two weeks passed and I went to the branch after phoning numerous times without any answer. When I arrived at the branch I waited 50min for the staff to find my paperwork in order to trace the progress on my phone. After the first 2 weeks my phone was sent to Johannesburg for inspection, but no feedback report was sent back to Tygervalley Branch. I was told that my phone will be repaired within 1 week (from the day I went to the branch) and I'll be contacted within that time frame. Since today I have not yet received 1 call from any Edgars staff or the repair centre regarding the progress on my phone. I continuously have to phone or go to the branch itself to get feedback on the progress of my phone, to which I get the same reply " we will come back to you'. This is ridicilous as it has been 5 weeks from the day I took in the phone, without any feedback. After I was promised the entire process will only take 2 weeks.
