On 6 April 2013 I received a call from an agent who advised he was calling on behalf of Edgars. He asked when was the last time I used my Edgars Account for Purchases and I responded saying I havent used it since Late 2011. The reason for the call was to inform me that my account was used on the 4 April 2013 in Wonderpark JET for purchases and the next day on 5 April 2013 in Diepsloot Jet Mart. Went to the Jabualni Branch to log a complaint and was advise to go to the police station and draft an Affidavit stating that I never used nor authorised both transaction on both days respectively and went back to Edgars to complete the dispute form which I assume was submitted. To date no response whatsoever from Edgars as to how these transaction were authorised and the record of the purchase made and the signature therein of the purchaser. This is a coincident because I settled the balance of R2, 097.00 on 27 March 2013 at Edgars Jabulani and requested for the account to be closed and a week later I received a call where I am informed of these tranactions/purchases made at these two locations and I was never anywhere in those areas nor made any purchases with my Edgars Account. HELP!
