I Made a phone call to Mix telematics on 19 Feb 2013 at 14:22 to test my unit. The consultant i spoke to, firstly informed me that my vehicle was 25 KM from where i was. I disagreed to this as there was no veracity to my vehicles' location. He then went to a "backup system 'and still could not locate and offered a call back in a few minutes. He called back within 15 minutes advising there may be a problem and he is dealing with the matter & will call back later in the afternoon. 2 hour later- no call! called back and spoke to Tumi who informed, cant locate & that an email will be sent to a technical department. I made it quite clear to him at tha i was not pleased that they cannot locate my vehicle and that the level of urgency being employed is not sufficient, as in the event of a hijacking of of the vehicle I am as good as a person who has no tracker. and requested for a senior to do something at the earliest about the situatin- get the issue with my unit sorted ASAP. Thabang Motloung the Manager has not called me back even at this point. I am shocked that mix. are not quick and effecient in sorting a matter for me. Where is My Vehicle?! Pathetic and unprofessional.
