I am tired if calling SABC tv license department. I am a law abiding citizen but for now I am not prepared to pay for the TV licence until you guys put your house in order. I have one TV that I bought at HI FI Corporation in Woodmead Mall, Eastgate mid November 2012. As I knew you can't buy a TV without a licence I therefore bought a new license as well. This year as my licence expired on Nov 30 I was told that I have to pay R555, this was a shocker and I immediately called SABC call centre which takes ages to be answered, I was told by the consultant that from their side it shows I have a retail licence. I have been calling without a clear answer but one thing for sure is that I will not pay this inflated fee of R555.Poor service by SABC as usual. I am just disappointed by whoever is responsible. My lic numbr is 283 106 870.It seems it's better of without this licence to avoid the inconvenience of time wasted and phone bill. Can someone responsible call me or write me to [Email Removed]
