The eThekwini Municipality has failed dismally in sorting out our faulty main swicth which was installed by them. If my dad uses his heavy duty machinery instead of tripping inside the house mains it trips on the mains they installed on the street. When they send their technicians they always, and I mean always send them with the wrong key. The reason for this is because they assume that everyone in the township is using the card system where as we are using the old Eskom meter, before the municipality made these changes we had absolutely no issues with the eskom mains that were installed. The account is up to date it has never been in areas. This has been going on for the past 2 months and honestly something needs to be done! They need to send a proper technician who actually can diagnose the problem and sort it out. We have food in the fridge that goes rotten. We buy the card for our neighbour and they switch it off at 6oclock then we are in the dark the whole night this has to stop and Ethekwini Municipality needs to sort this out.
