On the 21 01.2013, I lodged a request with the Parks & gardens to have a tree removed from outside my property. I was given a reference number (CSM13010000102)
I thereafter made numerous call to the supervisor of Parks & gardens in the Chatsworth area (Phindile Mazibuko) as well as emails as to what date the tree would be removed. She was very unhelpful and cut me off on 2 occasions as well as did not respond to my emails.
I then phoned her manager (Garth Kloppenberg) to complain. He took my details & promised to investigate & call back. This did not happen. I called him several times thereafter as well as sent him 2 emails. Still no response.
I then called the deputy director (Christo Swaart) on the 18.04.2013. He tooks my details and promised to investigate & call me back. This did not happen. I again called him on the 02.05.2013 & he again took my details & promised to call me back by the 06.05.2013. To date he has not called back.
I think that this type of service/attitude is very unprofessional, and as a taxpayer, the request to remove the tree from outside my property is not unreasonable.
