I obtained a quote from Simon to remove my palm tree, with its roots, from my garden. He was more expensive than other quotes obtained, however he begged me to give him the job. After seeing a compliment of his work on this site and having obtained assurance from his boss, Anton, I went ahead and employed his services. He removed the palm tree very well, however after he left we established that he did not remove the roots as we could not level the ground or plant grass. We contacted him 2 weeks ago and he promised to return to remove the roots. After numerous attempts and promises he has still not arrived to do what he was supposed to do in the beginning. I have made contact with Anton Barnard however have not heard from him either as to the state of play. I am very disappointed at having trusted him to do the job properly and will not be recommending him to anyone. They are all over you until they get the job and then when you want them to return it is too much of an effort.
