I phoned Partserve Playstation Helpdesk yesterday and said that my son dropped his PS2 and could I get it swapped out. The lady asked me when I bought the PS2 and I said that it was more than 10 years ago and it was the fat silver model. She then said that I could bring it in and they would swap it out for a refurbished one for R600 ex VAT.

Today, I took off work and drove all the way through to your Linbro branch only to be told that you do not swap out this model of PS2 as it was too old. When I walked out of the door, I phoned the PS2 support line again and the lady again said that they would swap out my PS2 even though it was older than 10 years.

Why can you not get the story straight between your staff where I am promised 1 thing by the support staff and then, at great expense, I come through only to be given a different story?

How would you feel if you were promised something, not once, but twice and then the company changed their tune? Don't you communicate internally?

Don't offer a service if you are not prepared to follow through on it!!
