I stayed at the Umhlanga City Lodge from the 17th-19th of January, and what a pleasant experience it was.
I went to check in at Reception and was greeted with such a lively greeting by Morne that would just make anybody's day. I had a request to please have my room cleaned alot earlier than usual as I would be working a night shift and when I get back to the Lodge I pretty much just want to sleep. He went one step further to getting my room in a much more quieter area of the lodge without me even asking. This is the type of service that just makes you want to come back time and time again because they make you feel so at home without you even saying anything.
He said he would try his best to accommodate for my request as the cleaners are usually not in that early, and without a doubt, the next day came, I opened my room door and... BANG, fully ready for me.
I would love to compliment Morne on the great service and the staff for making my stay so pleasant. I will DEFINITELY be back and make sure that I spread the word about how fantastic City Lodge Umhlanga is.
