REQUESTING PAYMENT AFTER 3 MONTHS!!!

On 23 June 2013 my husband went to Margate hospital while we were on holiday. We completed all the relevant forms which included the details of our medical aid. Yesterday my husband gets an sms from Netcare Central Collections advising we have been handed over. I phoned the number on the sms and spoke to Jasmin. I asked why only now are we notified that the it was not paid by the medical aid. Advised me my husband was contacted in August, which is not true and in any event still two months later. I asked her for proof that it was submitted to my medical aid as the medical aid will not pay it now if it was not submitted timeously. She told me I must contact the hospital and get the info. I immedialtey told her that she wants the money from me, it is her responsibility to get the info. In the 5 years I have been with Nedgroup Medical aid they have never not paid a claim that was submitted. According to their information pamflet it clearly states every effort will be made to claim from your medical aid. It also states that if they do not get a response within 48 hours then you are liable. 48 hours from 23 June 13???
