Wow, if you want a mid week break an try to book a hotel through Discovery Mall, think again. Discovery now dictates to you when you can stay at a hotel. You cannot book during the week as you have to stay at the Hotel on a Saturday. The discounts that are available to me are useless because of Discovery. The vitality status/Credit card etc are just a way of tying you into Discovery with no benefit.
I have now booked at a Hotel that is NOT a partner with Discovery and informed the Discovery partner hotel to cancel my booking due to this Discovery rule.
This was the first time I have used the Discovery mall, What other hidden T&C's await me if I want to purchase something else.
