I took my car for a service last week at the Randburg Branch after getting a quote of R1795 for a Major service, which i agreed on. When i collected the car, no old parts could be accounted for only the Air filter. After checking the invoice i notice the plugs was not changed and called only to be told it was suppose to be changed. They called me and quoted me over R12000 for various things before the service was even started.
They refunded me R350 for supposedly Platinum plugs.
So i basically i paid R1445 for 2 pynts oil, and a air filter, not sure of the oil filter and labour. went to the garage to fill petrol and ask attendant to check oil level and 2 pynts were short. this was 1 day later.
I filled oil my self only to realize they broke the tappet cover. the car is making noises it never made before taking to Car Service City in Randburg. The engine was not even cleaned, and i will have to redo the service with a trust-able resource as i now cant trust CSC workmanship. A cd must removed from my shuttle (although minor, its the principal of taking something that upsets me)
