I feel I need to point out what I noticed at our Local Spur Restaurant. The child play area is lovely and I can understand that it has probably been over run with kids, but if there is something that will be hazardous to a child it should surely be pointed out to the parents or the area should be closed until it is fixed??
My 4 year old and I were in the play area, he climbed up and was about to climb over the padded area at the highest point when a little boy pointed out to me that there was a huge gap where one of the cushioned planks were missing and there was an area where the children could fall straight through down to the floor below, this is over a metre and a half fall. Not only is there a gap but a large rusty nail sticking up in the middle of the area, I hate to think that some child might impale himself on that. I was so relieved that that little boy had shown me otherwise my child may have fallen straight through. I have taken photos if they are needed.
Please get this attended to ASAP before someone gets badly hurt. Not all parents go with their kids into the area so I hate to think what might happen
