Pathetic customer service

August 2010 our geyser burst in the house we had recently moved into. Ceilings were water damaged and claim was logged with Santam. They sent out a plumber and general contractor to replace geyser and repair damage. Manhole is too small to fit geyser and access through the roof is impossible, so while they removed the ceiling (contractor) they also took out geyser (plumber) then contractor put the ceiling back the way it was, meaning no future geyser could still be removed without removing ceiling. 13 April geyser that Santam provided bursts again, but this time it is under guarantee that ONLY covers geyser itself. Santam refuse to pay for the carpentry to open the manhole to remove geyser since the say all work falls under guarantee and by law you are not allowed to double insure, but the guarantee does not cover the ceiling work. Zak Cronje even tells me that if there was no guarantee they would have processed the claim with no problems. Why am I paying you Santam? So that you can hide behind a gaurantee that I never asked for?? How do I bath my 2 year old son without warm water? With your excuses?? That doesn't work. Pathetic, dont know how you sleep.
