On the 25th March after receiving various quotes I decided to take out a new policy with Budget insurance.
After accepting the quote telephonic-ally it was emailed to me on the same day. As soon as I opened the attachment to read through the policy document I realized that they had made an error with the commencement date as I informed them over the phone that the policy was only to start on the 1st May 2013.
I immediately emailed them back and alerted them to the fact the policy commencement date was incorrect and should be the 1st May 2013. I have never received any response.
Then on the 28th of March I emailed them to advise them that I was no longer interested in taking out insurance with them and that they must please cancel my policy.
High and below come the 1st of April they went and debited my account. After two emails sent well before this date.I called them and made sure that my policy was cancelled telephonically which the consultant did
I then asked this person to please also email me confirmation of the cancellation to which he replied that it would be done immediately, still waiting. Complained on there official website as yet still no reply to my query. Dont use them
